The Japanese used automobile exporting is a very huge worldwide trade, involving the export of used Japanese cars and other non-Japanese cars direct from Japan to rest of the world. Despite the strong earthquake and tsunami on March 11, the sale of used cars, used bus, and used truck to all over the world is still increasing due to the reasonable price and good condition of the second hand Japanese vehicles exporting from Japan.

The main factors to the feasibility of big export of used cars from Japan is, include Japan’s strict car inspections by Japan Inspection Organization, and high depreciation which make Japanese vehicles still worthy enough, as well as strict emission-control regulations which makes used vehicle disposal in Japan very expensive. According to sources, approximately 2,500,000 used automobiles were exported from Japan in a single year.
